Mastabas were a huge part of the ancient Egyptian architecture as the afterlife was an important part of their religion.
Which reflected on the architecture as the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt the pyramid of Djoser consists of six overlapping Mastabas.
A mastaba is a type of ancient Egyptian tomb in the form of a flat-roofed, rectangular structure with inward sloping sides, constructed out of mudbricks.
Mastaba in the ancient Egyptian culture means “the house of stability”, “the house of eternity” or “the eternal house“.
Modern take upon the ancient Egyptian vertical mastaba is the design concept of the project, as we dealt with the mastaba in a horizontal approach. The project consists of 5 Mastabas varying in height, with a main central mastaba over looking the rest of the project
